I noticed that gourmet nut butters have been all the rage lately and I can see why. They are so stinkin’ good! But they can have their downfalls, a lot of them are loaded with refined sugar, which is a no-no in my book, and number 2: they can cost up to $12 per jar! Except this Red Velvet Cookie Butter! It’s so easy to make with NO ADDED SUGAR! It taste like the real thing in a sweet and luscious spread that is perfect on bread, crackers, waffles, pancakes, bananas, apples, you name it! So save some money and make this gourmet butter, you’ll swear that you bought it from the grocery store after one lick!

I seen the posting & started making it right away & before I could even get it out of the food processor my grandchildren were all standing with the toaster out, plugged it with three different types of bread in it waiting on me to finish so that they could try it first. Verdict was in after the four of them polished off the first batch with all of them giving it a two thumbs up; then in the next breath wanting to know if I was making more right now, please. Red Velvet Cookie Butter has now became their new after school snack when they come to Mama’s house. Thank you so very much for posting this amazing recipe for my equally amazing grandchildren.
