Apples taste the best during the fall season, so what to do with a surplus stash of them? Make this bread. Made entirely of ground flaxseed, this bread has an amazing nutritional status, full of fiber and healthy fats, not to mention gluten-free and clean. Cinnamon and chopped up apples really make this bread taste like fall! You have to make this! Have it with peanut butter for breakfast, topped with coconut cream for dessert, or simply for an afternoon snack! Cinnamon-Apple Flaxseed Bread (adapted from The Healthful Pursuit)

Thank you for sharing this us at our linky party. THIS I AM going to make. I have loads of flax seed that always await another purpose. I wonder if it retains its nutrition when baked. I hope so.
I can’t wait to see what you’ll bring us this week, oh, in just a couple of hours at our Wednesday link-up! I better start baking this first. I happen to have all the ingredients (except coconut sugar (I have bittybits instead) in the house already. Till soon, Rose
ITs so easy to make, healthy and delish! Hope you enjoy!
I made these, and taste-wise they were great, but after 20 minutes of baking, mine were still raw! Are you sure 20 minutes is correct?
Hi Sarah,
It depends on the oven your using, it may take a few minutes longer for yours! Also, make sure you let it cool completely. I’ll update he recipe to add that, thanks for pointing it out 🙂
I just made this and let it cool for the hour, but when I cut it the middle is still kind of moist. Is this ok to eat?
Hi Jennifer,
Sorry for getting back so late! I should be fine to eat, maybe next time cook it a little bit longer 🙂
I found it easy to make. I did use butter instead of coconut oil, and honey instead of maple syrup. I was thinking to add more apple or some kind of chopped nuts to balance out the flax-ness. I hope it doesn’t dry it out or make it fall apart, as it cuts nicely and tastes great with butter spread on it. I’ll see how it goes.

I baked it about 40 minutes, just waited for it to come away from the side of the pan.
My house smells amazing after baking this! It’s delicious! Thanks for the recipe!
