Oatmeal is great for breakfast, but the same ole’ variations can get a little boring, let’s face it, sometimes we get tired of having oatmeal prepared the same way, day in day out! If you want to keep the great benefits of oatmeal, but want something different, you have come to the right place! This breakfast includes oatmeal, but in a totally different light, we’re talking PIZZA! I think I got your attention there! Yes, you can have pizza for breakfast, and not any pizza, but peach pie pizza! Now your probably wondering, how can that be healthy, well friends, this baby is made with only the healthy and cleanest ingredients, but don’t let that fool you, it tastes just as decadent and tasty as any other type of dessert pizza!
Peach Pie Breakfast Pizza
- 1 cup oats
- 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
- 1/8 tsp. vanilla extract
- 1/2 Tbsp. crushed pecans
- 1 egg ( or flax egg)
- 1/4 cup apple sauce
- 1 peach, sliced
- 2 Tbsp. greek yogurt/ soy yogurt/ coconut yogurt
- 1/2 Tbsp. raisins
- 1/2 Tbsp. pecans
- Preheat to 350 degrees.
- Place oats, cinnamon, vanilla, pecans, egg and apple sauce into a bowl. Mix well.
- Place parchment paper over top of a cooking sheet. Add oats on top of parchment paper and form into round crust. Bake for 10 minutes, or until golden.
- Let crust cool, then add remaining ingredients for the toppings.
- Enjoy!
