Now most of you have probably had a banana split, right? But have any of you ever had a Banana Split Wonton? Negative, well at least most of you! All the flavors of a banana split in a crispy Shell with an ooey-gooey chocolatly-banana-strawberry filling topped with an amazing chocolate sauce, bananas, strawberries and walnuts! I know, that’s a lot to take in, but it’s well worth it for your tastes buds, and it won’t add any inches to your waistline!
Banana Split Wontons
- half of a banana, mashed
- 1 Tbsp. cocoa powder
- 2 tbsp finely chopped strawberries
- 8 Gluten-free wonton wrappers
- 1 tsp coconut oil, melted
- Mix the mashed banana with cocoa powder
- Place Wonton Wrappers on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper
- Divide banana filling among wonton wrappers, sprinkle each with chopped strawberries
- Dip your finger into some water and lightly spread around the edges of each wonton, pinch the ends together and tightly seal
- Brush coconut oil evenly on wontons, Bake at 350 for about 10 minutes, or until golden
- Drizzle with healthy chocolate sauce (recipe below) and top with banana slices, strawberries and walnuts, if desired
- Enjoy!
Healthy Chocolate Sauce
- 1/2 tbsp coconut oil, melted
- 1 tbsp cocoa powder
- 1/2 tbsp agave/honey/maple syrup
