When it comes to making food, I can be extremely impatient. I’m not one to waste more than 30 minutes in the kitchen and if I do, I end up going crazy! That’s why I love making simple and healthy recipes that will please even the pickiest of eaters in the shortest amount of time possible.
One way to save time in meal prep is to pair a quick and easy meal with Wegman’s Ready Pac Bistro Bowl Salads! There are so many different flavors of the Bistro Bowl Salads that they can accompany any kind of recipe. I love that they are so fresh and make healthy eating so darn easy. Pair a Bistro Bowl Salad with a healthy soup, smoothie, yogurt parfait, fruit salad or my favorite, a grilled veggie and pita pizza for a nice lunch or light dinner. There are endless ways to enjoy them!
You can find the Ready Pac Bistro Bowl Salads in the produce section or any Wegman’s Store, they are extremely easy to find, right near the spinach and salad mixes. I used the Caprese Bistro Salad Bowl for a nice meatless meal, but you can also buy other flavors with chicken, such as Organic Caesar with Chicken or Turkey and Bacon Cobb, no matter what flavor you choose, you will enjoy the fresh and delicious taste of these healthy time savers!
- 1 cup chopped mixed veggies, I used mushrooms, eggplant, and onions
- 1 pita bread or gluten-free flatbread
- 2 tbsp ricotta cheese
- 1 tbsp chopped sun-dried tomatoes
- 1 Wegman's Ready Pac Bistro Salad Bowl (I used Caprese)
Step 1: Saute veggies
Step 3: Top with veggies and sun dried tomatoes
Step 4: Pan fry on low until crispy
Step 5: Combine salad ingredients and mix well
Step 6: Enjoy your healthy quick and easy meal with a tasty Ready pac Bistro Bowl Salad!
